Our Founding Story

Born from a Belief in Uganda's Potential

PearlGrowth Consulting was founded in 2014 by Dr. Josephine Namutebi, a trained executive coach and organisational psychologist who saw a clear gap: Uganda's brightest professionals were not receiving the coaching and mentorship they needed to truly excel.

Starting with a small office on Nakasero Road in Kampala and a team of three passionate coaches, we began working with young professionals and mid-level managers who wanted more from their careers — and were willing to do the inner work to get there.

Over twelve years, PearlGrowth has grown into Uganda's most trusted coaching and consulting firm, serving over 850 individuals and 40 corporate clients across the country.

2014

The Beginning

PearlGrowth is founded by Dr. Josephine Namutebi with a team of 3 coaches in Kampala.

2016

Corporate Expansion

We launch our first corporate coaching programme, partnering with three Kampala-based banks.

2018

ICF Accreditation

PearlGrowth receives full ICF (International Coaching Federation) accreditation, confirming our world-class standards.

2020

Going Virtual

We rapidly adapt to virtual coaching during the pandemic, serving clients across Uganda and East Africa online.

2023

New Office & Growth

We move to our expanded Nakasero Road headquarters and grow our team to 14 certified coaches.
